Update on Bobby Kennedy

Bobby Kennedy is still at MUSC Hospital. When he fell on Saturday, he broke his back, wrist, arm, nose and ribs. His wrist will require surgery in about a week and hurts like the dickens. His back is the most worrisome. On Sunday he was fitted for a brace. Today, he’ll be trying it out.

Long-time Dewees resident Bobby Kennedy fell today while trimming some tree branches. He was flown by helicopter to MUSC Hospital for medical attention. We hear that he has some broken ribs, a broken arm, a broken nose and is undergoing further testing, including a CAT Scan. We all wish Bobby a speedy recovery.
Squid Dissection at 9:30 at the Nature Center

There will be a cool new science program at the Dewees Nature Centure this morning. Kids are going to get the chance to dissect squid. When they are done, they’ll have a good idea of what’s “in there.”
Afterwards, the squid will be recycled by feeding it to the creatures living at the Nature Center.
