Judy worked with ferry Deckhand Dillon Smith to create the following video. It shows dolphins frolicking in the Dewees Ferries’s bow and stern wakes. We love when the dolphin rolls on her side to look at us.

Bubber McAlhaney published an excellent photo gallery called Birds of Dewees Island.
Dewees is very lucky to be at the southern tip of the largest track of lightly or completely undeveloped barrier islands in the Eastern Flyway. Nearly 350 species of birds can be seen on Dewees at different times of year.
